Udaipur killing accused likely to share link with 26/11 attack: Reports

It has recently come to light that Mohammad Riyaz Attari, the prime accused in the murder case of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, Rajasthan had paid a sum of 1000 INR for getting a vehicle registration – the number of that particular vehicle is RJ 27-AS-2611. According to recent leads by the police, the same vehicle is likely to have a reference in 2008 Mumbai terror attack.

Both Attari and Gosh Mohammad, followed by a controversial statement on Prophet Muhammad passed by Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nupur Sharma, had sacked tailor Kanhaiya Lal’s  shop in disguise and murdered him brutally on grounds of support for Nupur Sharma by the victim.  

According to the investigating team, the same motorcycle ending with the number 2611 was used by the duo to run-away from the crime scene. Later, both the accused were arrested in Bhim, a town in Rajsamand.

Prabhu Lal Bamaniya, the regional transport officer of Udaipur reiterated that the bike ending with 2611 was registered on 15th March, 2013 and a sum of 1000 INR was charged by the owner through demand draft. During investigation, the police also verified that the same vehicle was used by both the accused – RJ 27 AS 2611

Recent opinions of common people state that the link drawn between the accused and 2009 Mumbai terror attack prove that they carry a radical mindset which runs on religious hatred.

The police have tracked the recent social activities of both the accused and it indicates that they were actively promoting inter-religious hatred by operating through WhatsApp groups or Telegram communities. Likewise, the video posted after the murder had been committed highlight their radical mindset and composed religious hatred.

The Mumbai terror attack which took place on 26th November 2008 (also referred o as 26/11 in common) remains India’s most horrific terror mission carried out solely on the grounds of Islam phobia and growing inter-religious conflicts. In that attack, around 166 Indians died who were killed by a dozen Pakistani terrorists arriving Mumbai via the sea.
