During a seminar at the Observer Research Foundation in Delhi on Wednesday, a United Arab Emirates (UAE) minister lavished accolades on the country’s minister of external affairs, S Jaishankar (ORF).
The UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Omar Sultan Al Olama, expressed his admiration for Jaishankar’s placement of India’s foreign policy on the international arena in the midst of the ongoing geopolitical tensions.

The minister spoke at CyFY202, a virtual gathering that various Indian ministries and lawmakers attended. The meeting, which took place in the capital, covered topics in technology, security, and society. Olama added that trade is crucial in today’s world and that India and the UAE can cooperate to increase their global trade and investment footprint.
Olama replied to a query on how he manages the geopolitical headwinds by saying, “In the past, people had to take sides in a unipolar, bipolar, or tripolar globe. Your minister of international affairs really makes an impression on me after watching some of his remarks. We don’t need to pick sides, and this is true for both the UAE and India.”
He also spoke on the friendship between India and the United Arab Emirates and how deeply rooted their ties are throughout the event. He asserted that there are many opportunities for collaboration, with a focus on startup cooperation between the two nations.

The CyFy2022 conference will take place over the following three days and feature speakers from about 150 different nations as well as Q&A sessions.
