The registration under the third phase of the Corona Vaccination Campaign began on Wednesday, April 28, at 4pm on the Cowin website, Arogya Setu App and Umang app. It is for those Indian citizens who are above 18 years of age. After the process is initiated, qualified people can register themselves by visiting the CoWin portal. In order to prevent coronavirus infection, doses from 1 May will be given to the population of 18-44 years of age. 

MyGovIndia tweeted that people should ignore the rumors raised about the date of registration. It was not from 24 April but from 28 April, on which the registration has started on the Cowin Platform, Arogya Setu App and Umang app.

Until now, only those over the age of 45 were allowed the vaccine. It’s a known fact that every day new cases of infection in the country are increasing with the hit of the second wave of epidemic. The number of new cases has crossed the figure of 3 lakh. In relation to that, the government has cleared that people have to register online for the first dose of vaccine before going to the hospital. 

MyGovIndia tweeted that the third phase of vaccination will start from May 1, for which the registration process is being started on the Arogya Setu app, Cowin platform and Umang app.

Here’s how to register- 

1. Click Register / Sign in on Kovin portal or Arogya Setu App 

2. Enter mobile number or Aadhaar number 

3. 10 points OTP 

4. Put OTP on the site and click ‘Verify’ 

5. Enter all the details sought and click on register  

After this, the option of schedule will come and after filling it, the registration process will be completed. After the registration the user will get a Reference ID (Reference ID) which will get the Vaccination Certificate. Currently, two vaccines are being given as Covaxin and Covidshield as part of the Vaccination Campaign.
