We are not even half way through 2022 and it has proved to be a big year for motorcycle enthusiasts. Despite the occurrence of some production delays, motorcycle manufacturers have made significant progress towards designing and manufacturing of new motorcycles in several categories. Trends to watch out for this year include an increased focus on off-road and middleweight bikes, new technologies and electric powertrains, and an increased focus on track and road bike design and performance. 1. 2022 MV Agusta Superveloce Ago

Indian motorcycles have made brilliant innovations in style, performance and technology over the past decade, and nowhere is this more evident than on the refreshed Chieftain. The centenary model has been distilled into a refined cruiser that sheds clutter but retains the spirit of the original. The latest Chief is powered by the brand’s 1,811cc air-cooled Thunderstroke 111 V-twin engine that produces 108 pound-feet of torque. This bike is great; unsurprisingly, its launch inspired the build of celebrity custom bikes, like Jon Bernthal’s “Trouble Maker” built by motorcycle legend Kelly Hart.

4. 2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Special

In 2021, Harley-Davidson entered the Adventure Tour stage with a Pan American Edition (Jason Momoa as its official ambassador). Pan America is powered by H-D’s latest liquid-cooled Revolution Max 1250 engine, delivering 150 ponies and 95 lb-ft of torque with a 9,500-rpm redline.
