Finally the Supreme Court has passed the most awaited verdict in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, CBI to investigate the case and Rhea Chakraborty’s plea has been rejected by the Supreme Court.
A FIR was filed by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, K.K. Singh in Patna seeking an investigation in the case by accusing Rhea Rajput and her brother Shawik Chakraborty of serious allegations like money laundering and abetment of his son’s death. The FIR was to investigate and then behaving too insensitively, as said by Rajput’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh, Rhea Chakraborty, raised a plea in Supreme Court to transfer the case to Mumbai from Patna to get unbiased justice. The plea was kept on standby by the Supreme Court and finally on 19th August, 2020 the court rejected Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for transfer of the case from Patna to Mumbai.

The Rajput family had felt the first step closer to success by this hearing. Not only for the family but this day has been a winning moment for every person, friends, family and his fan club who believed and supported Sushant Singh Rajput for his fight. As strong global prayers were with the CBI probe in the SSR death case and the verdict comes in favour, it has been a triumphant day for the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and hope for a justifiable investigation by CBI to get to the reason for the sad demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
