Robots are transporting milk and ration to homes, the name is Camello

In Singapore nowadays, robots are transporting milk and ration to people’s homes. Singapore-based technology and artificial intelligence company OTSAW Digital has launched a pilot program, which works to deliver rations to people’s homes through robots. The program has been started under testing for 1 year at present and the company will cover 700 homes during this period.

Both these robots will deliver many household items, including milk, oil, in these 700 houses. The first person to get the goods by the robot is named Tashfique Haider and in an interview, the 25-year-old says that this project can be very beneficial for the elderly, because they have such bad times. I will not have to move out of our homes to buy everyday things.

These robots are equipped with many modern technologies. The customer can use the app to get delivery by these robots. Some gadgets have been used in these, which keep the robot and delivery goods disinfected (clean of viruses and germs). The app has also been modernized.

From the delivery of the robot to the delivery point, the customer can get information through the app. These robots (Camello) can handle a load of 20 kg and the company says that these robots deliver 4 to 5 per day from Monday to Friday and on Saturday they have half day.

Reports from Reuters say that these robots have received different processes from customers receiving delivery. Some customers say they found the delivery of robot goods a fun and exciting experience. At the same time, some people say that it will be a little difficult for the elderly to understand such modern things. Xue Ya Xin, a 36-year-old housewife, told Reuters that (translated) “Young customers would like it (Camello). I don’t think the older generation would like it, because these are gadgets that young people like.”

Ling Ting Ming, CEO of OTSAW Digital, says that especially during this epidemic, everyone is looking for contact equipped and unmanned delivery options. The company staff currently accompanies these robots to monitor the project and the way the robot works.
