The buzz of wedding between Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal has been going around since the couple started dating. As per the sources, the two are now all set to tie the knot in September end. The celebrations will begin in Delhi and then move and conclude in Mumbai in the first week of October.
Reportedly, the D-day will be held at a South Mumbai hotel. Richa Chadha and Ali fell in love after their initial encounter on the Fukrey set in 2012.
Ali proposed to Richa in 2019 after seven years of dating, and they were set to wed in 2020. The pair had originally planned to get married in March 2022; however, the epidemic forced them to postpone the event.

The two will also be seen together again in Fukrey 3, the third instalment of the franchise. The latest movie is also directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, and it is made by Excel Entertainment, a production company run by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
Richa said to News18 last month, “I think shaadi, shaadi ho jaegi iss saal. Kisi tarah se kar lenge (We will get married this year, we will marry somehow). While we are eager to wed, we also want to be responsible and worry about COVID-19.”
She further added, “We don’t want the incorrect things to make the news. Plus, once things started to happen and work picked back up, we’ve both become really busy. So, I’m suggesting that in order to make this happen this year, we need to sort of conduct a live production job of taking combo dates.”

In an interview with Hindustan Times last year, Ali stated that they hoped to wed by March 2022, but none of the plans have come to pass. It feels like their anticipated match-making is coming true this year.
