PM Narendra Modi wishes Rishabh Pant for a speedy recovery

After India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant was involved in an accident while returning home on the Delhi-Dehradun highway on Friday morning, PM Narendra Modi expressed his sorrow. “by the accident involving renowned cricketer Rishabh Pant. I offer up a prayer for his health and well-being. @RishabhPant17, “PM Modi, who had lost his mother the day before, tweeted.

After his luxury car lost control and slammed a road barrier before catching fire, Pant had two wounds to his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe, and bruises on his back, according to Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Ajai Singh.

Pant is being treated at the Max Hospital in Dehradun and, according to reports, is not in danger. At the Roorkee Saksham Hospital, he received urgent care. One of India’s best cricketers, Pant, was on his way to Roorkee, where he was from, to celebrate the New Year with his family. He had just come back from the UAE, where he had recently enjoyed Christmas with friends after helping India win the Bangladesh Test Series 2-0.

According to reports, the cricket player fell asleep around 5:30 am and lost control of his car. He added that the player was assisted out of the burning car by the driver and other employees of a Haryana Roadways bus that was passing by. The cricketer’s automobile was entirely burnt in the collision, he added.

According to the police, “Pant was involved in an accident on Friday at 5.30 am in Manglaur, Haridwar district, when his automobile struck a divider. He was taken by ambulance to the adjacent Saksham Hospital in Roorkee, from which he was later sent to the Max Hospital in Dehradun”.

“Rishabh has two wounds on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee, as well as injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe. His back also has abrasions. Rishabh’s status is stable, and he has now been sent to the Max Hospital in Dehradun where he will have an MRI to determine the full extent of his injuries and determine the next steps in his care.”

“While the Medical Team maintains regular communication with the medical professionals caring for Rishabh right now, the BCCI is in continual contact with Rishabh’s family. The Board will make sure that Rishabh gets the finest medical attention and all the support he needs to get through this difficult time, the BCCI stated in a statement.

The left-handed attacking batter Pant was not included in India’s limited-overs squads for the home series against Sri Lanka that begins on January 3, but he was anticipated to be a major player in the country’s defense of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Pant’s ability to participate in the four-match Test series beginning in February 2023 is currently unknown.
