PM Narendra Modi to hold grand road-show in New Delhi

On Monday afternoon in Delhi, PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to host a large roadshow. The BJP is having a significant national executive meeting in the nation’s capital as the Prime Minister’s roadshow is taking place. Prior to the roadshow, BJP leader JP Nadda spoke at the National Office Bearers’ meeting.

In Central Delhi, the roadshow will take place between Sardar Patel Marg and the NDMC Convention Center. Images showed a sea of people gathered under four layers of security, including excited partygoers and locals.

According to officials, the Delhi Traffic Police has taken numerous precautions. As part of the traffic preparations established for the road show, eight roads, including the major routes Jantar Mantar Road, Ashoka Road, and Bangla Sahib Lane, were shut down till 5 p.m. on Monday.

According to police, “traffic would be impacted in Lutyens Delhi and police have arranged required diversions,” according to a previous news reporting.

On Monday at 3 p.m., the BJP will host a road show from Patel Chowk to the intersection of Sansad Marg and Jai Singh Road. The area surrounding the road show’s route will have special traffic procedures in place, according to the Delhi Traffic Police.

A teenager was observed running towards PM Narendra Modi last week as he was leading a roadshow in Hubbali, Karnataka, raising questions about his safety. However, the police eventually claimed that because everyone had been searched and frisked, the occurrence could not be considered a security violation.

“Those who were permitted inside the barricade were verified, and as per the initial arrangement, this adolescent had authorization to approach the Prime Minister.”
