In an interview, director Karan Johar said he sought to join the mile high club but “almost got caught.” The movie director discussed a situation that became a “messy scenario” with his actors Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon during their appearance on Koffee with Karan 7.
Tiger Shroff was questioned by Karan during the Rapid Fire round of the programme, “The craziest spot you have made out at is?” Although that’s not strange, Tiger retorted, “I felt it was very adventurous of me, up in the air.”
Karan stated: “Oh! Club Mile High? You belong there. I’m not sure how folks manage it. We’ll talk after the performance. There was an attempt made, but the tiny restroom wasn’t big enough (looking at Kriti Sanon, “you know I’m a big boy”). No, it was a bit of a complex situation since, by luck, I also almost got caught.”

Karan spoke to Film Companion earlier this year about his regrets, “I wish I had put a little more emphasis on my private life. I don’t believe I did that. I feel so fulfilled as a mom today. And I’m glad I did, even though I believe I did it five years too late. I wish I had completed that action sooner. However, I believe that while cultivating my studio, producers, and relationships, I neglected to prioritise my personal life.”
Karan Johar added, “The biggest regret I have is that I didn’t give that aspect of my life the attention I believe it deserved at a specific point in time, and now I worry it could be too late, he continued. I wonder if it’s too late for me to find someone to spend the rest of my life with, go on quiet vacations in the mountains with, or even just kind of hold my hand occasionally.”
He further stated, “I believe that a parent or child can never fully fulfil what a life partner does for you in that regard. That’s something that only your soulmate, your life partner, your connection, your romance, or whatever it may be, should do, in my opinion. I do not possess that. I have a void there in my life.”

Along with hosting Koffee with Karan, he recently finished Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, his next film. On February 10, 2023, the movie, starring Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh, will be released in theatres.
