In a recent development on Instagram, the renowned and ever famous young pop star, Justin Bieber highlighted upon his arrest in relation to DUI in Miami, which was made in 2014. He shared pictures of the incident along with a long paragraph of how challenging that time was for him and how God backed him up at every step.
In 2014, Justin Bieber was arrested on the allegation for drag racing on the finest Miami Beach in a yellow Lamborghini. Later on, he was also charged for driving while owning a suspended licence. Together with Justin, his close friend Khalil (songwriter and singer) was also arrested on the same accusation.
“7 years ago, I was arrested, not my finest hour. Not proud of where I was at in my life. I was hurting, unhappy, confused, angry, misled, misunderstood and angry at god. All this to say God has brought me a long way,” from then till now I do realize something.. God was as close to me then as he is right now. My encouragement to you is to ‘let your past be a reminder of how far god has brought you. Don’t allow shame to ruin your “today” let the forgiveness of Jesus take over and watch your life blossom into all that God has designed you to be.” Bieber wrote, affixing pictures of his arrest in 2014.
However, Justin settled the DUI case later in the same year, pleading guilty for careless driving and for transgressing the traffic regulations. Not only that, he also pledged to donate a sum of $50,000 to a young charity. After this incident, he also joined an anger management course and decided to never dwell into such incidents again in his life
