Four accused in Udaipur murder attacked by a mob outside NIA court

On Saturday, the four accused convicts in the Kanhaiya Lal’s murder case were taken for investigation by the police at the NIA court in Jaipur. However, during the escort process, an angry mob attacked all the alleged convicts just outside the court.

ANI shared a video clip where the attack by the mob has been recorded while all the accused were taken into the court by the police. The court, in today’s trials, sent all the four accused – Ghous Mohammed, Riyaz Attari, , Mohsin and Asif –  into a ten day custody under NIA for conduction of further inquiry into the matter.

According to police reports, out of the four accused, the first two – Ghous Mohammed and Riyaz Attari – were involved in the beheading act, while the rest two had connections with them and had been rightfully arrested for conspiracy and abetment.

As an internal report states, there is a cross-border link of both the killers; the probe believes that the accused Ghous Mohammed had visited Karachi for the call of functionaries related to the Dawat-e-Islami in 2014. An intel lead states that he stayed in Pakistan for 40 days for the same event.

Riyaz Attari , the second accused has a problematic past as well; he once tried to infiltrate into BJP’s minority wing located in Rajasthan. He also attempted to execute an attack on a member of BJP’s Minority Morcha along with a party worker who stated ill-comments on Islam.

After the initial round of investigation, as per the concerned authorities stated, both the accused carry no remorse on the heinous crime that they had committed. Soon after the murder was committed, the crowd is probing on the ramifications of the Karachi based DEL.

Moreover, the disheartening act has incited inter-religious conflicts across the country, often the Hindu and Muslim population involving into verbal and at times even physical dwell.
