The Film Industry is getting back for roll-camera-action, but the background dancers are yet not to set the stage and are suffering during this pandemic phase. Meanwhile the bollywood glam girl Katrina Kaif has shown support by helping these dancers financially so that they can start their own small business so that they can sustain on their own until they are back on the set with small business.
Katrina kaif has helped about 100 back dancers who work on daily wages and have seen a crucial time during this pandemic. She has directly transferred the amount into the bank account of the dancers. It was sound that these background dancers have utilised the money provided as a help to get back on their feet. They sell vegetables, run tiffin services and beauty services.
The celebrities have not been that much affected by the lockdown but the other staff have been mostly affected out of which the majority are the daily wage workers. These background dancers with no other choice have to do such odd jobs. It is also difficult for them to meet their regular day to day needs. One of the senior dancers, Hetal said that she wakes up early in the morning and goes to APMC to buy vegetables and then comes home and sells it to the nearby locals. She adds that she has to risk her life by doing so and has no other option.
There has been a long way till the things are back to normal and these dancers can get back on work. These background dancers have been grateful by the generosity of the celebrities like this and appreciate it with full heart.
