Election results: Trinamool Congress ahead in Bengal, what is the situation in other states?

The results of the assembly elections of four states and union territory of Puducherry have started coming. In the initial results, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal was ahead of the BJP. In Kerala, the Left Democratic Front (LDF) is moving towards coming to power for the second consecutive time. There is a possibility of a change of power in Tamil Nadu and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) alliance is on the way to power. BJP is ahead in Assam and Puducherry. 

Talking about West Bengal, which is very important politically , according to NDTV , the trend of 292 seats has come so far. Of these, TMC was leading in 167 seats, while BJP was ahead in 122 seats. The coalition of Left parties and Congress is leading in 1 seat. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is trailing BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari in Nandigram. The results match the results of the exit poll.

Talking about Tamil Nadu, the DMK and Congress alliance is going ahead here. The trend of all 234 seats has come in the state and DMK’s alliance is ahead in 137 of these seats. The alliance of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and BJP is behind and is currently leading in 95 seats. Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) is leading in one seat and Kamal Haasan’s Makkal Nidhi Miam (MNM) is leading in one seat. 

Talking about Kerala, the ruling left coalition LDF is leading in 86 seats out of 140 and is on the cusp of coming to power for the second time. The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) was leading in 49 seats. The BJP was ahead in only four seats.

If the LDF wins here, it will be the first time in recent history that an alliance will come to power for the second time in a row. 

The trend of all 126 seats of Assam has come. Of these, BJP’s alliance is going ahead in 84 seats and is on the way back to power. The Congress alliance is leading in 41 seats. In Puducherry, there has been a trend of 17 seats here and BJP’s alliance is leading in 12 seats. The Congress alliance is ahead in only four seats.
