Covid-19

“Coronavirus is also a living creature, it has all the rights to live”, says the former Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Trivendra Singh Rawat.

“Coronavirus is also a living creature, it has all the rights to live”, says the former Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Trivendra Singh Rawat.

The former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat says that the corona virus is a living creature and he also has the right to live like humans.

His statement on social media is going viral and people are surprised at it.

Rawat says that humans are behind the coronavirus, so it is changing its form again and again. Let us find out what else Rawat said about the deadly Coronavirus.

What did Rawat say in his statement?

In a video playing on social media, Rawat is saying, “This virus is also a creature and we too. We consider ourselves to be the smartest, but that creature wants to live. He too has the right. We are following him. He wants to escape. The form is changing. He has become out of order to be saved. So you have to keep a distance from it. You keep on walking and we keep on walking as well.” Rawat further said in his statement, “Just, we have to move faster than the virus so that it is left behind. We should also pay attention to this aspect. That too is a life and is changing the form to save our life.”

Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have targeted this statement of the former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. The Congress vice-president of Uttarakhand, Suryakant Dhasmana, said that the statement of the former Chief Minister of the state is nothing but foolishness and nonsense. He has no vision, which has led to this situation in his BJP. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson, Amarjeet Singh Rana, said that Rawat is making Uttarakhand a laughing stock.

On one hand, on social media, people are surprised by the peculiar and unrealistic vision of Rawat, while, on the other hand, BJP and his supporters have defended it. The BJP says that the Congress is playing a dirty game during the epidemic and the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to get cheap publicity for political presence in the state. At the same time, supporters of Rawat say that the former Chief Minister was telling people to be careful with the virus and that his motive was misinterpreted.

Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand in March. It was told that many MLAs from Uttarakhand were skeptical and annoyed by Rawat’s style of functioning and had also complained to the central leadership about it. The party high command said that if BJP enters the next year’s elections under the leadership of Trivendra Singh Rawat, it will surely have to suffer. After him, BJP had handed over the command of Uttarakhand to Tirath Singh Rawat.
