Chiranjeevi offer medical aid to injured photojournalist, fans call him “real hero”

Chiranjeevi

In a recent development, the popular Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has made it to the headlines as he came out for support to a Hyderabad based photojournalist in need of immediate medical aid amidst a road accident.

The actor, who was last seen in a Telugu film named Acharya, alongside his son, Ram Charn, had offered timely assistance to the injured photojournalist, for which his life was saved. The patient is now out of critical condition and doing decently well, all thanks to Chiranjeevi, the living legend. The humanitarian effort showcased by the megastar is now being highly lauded by his fans, calling him a “real hero” of people.

On Tuesday morning, the photojournalist took to his Twitter to let the world know of the star’s gesture that has saved his life. Praising him, the news agency of the photojournalist wrote, “One of our fellow photo journalists suddenly fell ill and needed medical emergency. It’s @KChiruTweetsgaru, who immediately responded and spoke to the doctors to take care of the journo. Now he is stable and out of danger. Thank you Chiru sir. You are a real hero.”

The comments section of this tweet was filled with heart-warming messages for Chiranjeevi; people highly praised the actor’s kind gesture. People re-tweeted the news in large numbers and many even called him both reel and real life hero. One fan, who seemed highly moved by the actor’s effort wrote, “Chiranjeevi is precious. His character is gold. Period.”

Chiranjeevi

In terms of films, Chiranjeevi was last seen in Acharya, sharing the screen with his son, Ram Charan. However, the collections denote that the film is a huge disaster. As per the tracking portal of box-office revenue Andhra Box Office, Acharya is a “double disaster”. The theatrical value of the film stands at 140 crores. The film performing quite poorly, the collections have not even hit 1/4th of the break-even.

The Andhra Box Office wrote in a tweet, “#Acharya is literally dead at the box-office on its 1st Monday. 4th day gross numbers are abysmally low and share is negligible (sic)”

Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya narrates the life story of a middle-aged Naxalite turned social reformer who indulges himself into a fight against the Endowments Department over the embezzlement of donations and temple funds. Acharya is the first film which features the father-son duo (Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan) together in a film with full-length roles. As anticipated, the film has not done well in terms of box office collections.
