Online meal delivery service Zomato Ltd announced that Gunjan Patidar, the co-founder and CTO, has resigned from his position on Monday. According to a regulatory filing by Zomato, Patidar was one of the company’s original few workers and established the key technological infrastructure of the business.

“He also fostered a fantastic tech leadership team over the past ten or more years that is ready to assume the role of heading the tech function moving ahead. His assistance in creating Zomato was vital” the business stated. However, it omitted the details of his resignation.
Mohit Gupta, another co-founder of Zomato, left his position in November of last year. In 2020, Gupta, who had been a part of Zomato for four and a half years as the CEO of its meal delivery division, was promoted to co-founder.

Top-level departures from Zomato occurred last year, including that of co-founder Gaurav Gupta, former vice-president Siddharth Jhawar, and head of new ventures Rahul Ganjoo.
