Brahmastra earns 160 crores worldwide in two days post release

Brahmastra

The Brahmastra juggernaut won’t even let up; it just keeps going. The Ayan Mukerji movie benefited from a solid start and continued to expand on day 2, earning 85 crore in total on Saturday. This brings the movie’s two-day global total to 160 crore, fueling predictions of a potential weekend revenue of 250 crore.

The Hindi version has performed admirably, but the dubbed versions are surprising audiences, with the movie breaking a record on Saturday in Tamil Nadu. The movie’s official Twitter account released a graphic on Sunday afternoon stating that it had made 160 crore in just two days globally.

Part of the message said, “Thank you to all our audiences, for spreading Love and Light at Cinemas this Weekend.” The movie’s opening day international box office receipts were reported to reach 75 crore on Saturday.

All four of the movie’s dubs—Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada—are doing well at the box office. Due to Nagarjuna’s involvement in the movie and SS Rajamouli’s direction, the Telugu version was anticipated to perform well. But what has everyone shocked is how well the movie is doing in Tamil Nadu.

Brahmastra

According to a report in Sacnilk, Brahmastra earned 1.9 crore in Tamil Nadu on Saturday, surpassing War and Thugs of Hindostan to become the state’s highest-earning Bollywood movie in a single day. According to a BoxOfficeIndia.com report from earlier in the day, the Hindi version of the movie had made 66.5 crore in just two days in India.

Director Ayan’s intended trilogy begins with Brahmastra, which is actually the first instalment, Bramhastra Part One- Shiva. The movie, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy, also has lengthy cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna.
