Arriving in Chennai to promote his forthcoming movie Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor was accompanied by Nagarjuna and SS Rajamouli. When the three arrived at the promotional event, they were greeted musically by a sizable band playing dhol. Prior to the big event, they took a few photos together and ate some South Indian food.
Ranbir can be seen having a typical South Indian lunch served on a banana leaf in a paparazzo account video. He was seated close to Nagarjuna and SS Rajamouli. As they made their way to the main event, the three also shared a group photo on the stage.

Nagarjuna plays an important part as an archaeologist in Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir in the lead role. Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam are just a few of the South Indian languages in which SS Rajamouli is presenting the movie.
With Brahmastra, Nagarjuna makes his long-awaited return to Hindi film after an absence of nearly two decades. The actor has previously admitted that he had been hesitant to take a part in the movie at first. Earlier this year, he admitted to Bollywood Hungama, “I was a little hesitant about doing it at first but then Ayan came home and he offered it to me.”
I remarked, “I just don’t want to do a cameo, no use now. However, when he brought the entire script to me, it was magnificent and brilliant because to his vision for it and the ardour with which they were working on it. They had shot some of it by that point. He showed me everything. And I responded yes right away.”

Ayan Mukerji’s film is also Ranbir’s first collaboration with his wife Alia Bhatt. The movie, in which Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy have significant roles, is slated to hit theatres on September 9.
