BJP targets Congress, wants to remove memories of their lineage from India politics: Shiv Sena

Shiv Sena

In a recent development on Thursday, Shiv Sena leaders have claimed BJP’s intent of erasing the valuable memories of devoted politicians like Jawahrlal Nehru, Rajiv Gandhi, and Indira Gandhi. Adding further on their claim, the leaders reiterated that Modi-led BJP is targeting to “destroy” the lineage of Nehru-Gandhi; its prospects, political image, and future offspring’s’ political career.

‘Saamana’, an editorial of the Shiv Sena party, highly bashed the central government for the illegitimate questioning of Rahul Gandhi, a senior Congress leader, in a monetary laundering case which is currently handled by the Enforcement Directorate.

Shiv Sena leaders have ardently criticized this move of the central government; according to them, BJP is playing the role of a single mafia in Indian Politics. By imbibing their powers on the opposition, BJP intends to portray that they can “grab anyone’s collar” – no matter how powerful they are. This statement was recorded by a Marathi daily, which also covered multiple news reports against the central government for brute force politics in India.

As per the news, Shiv Sena leaders claimed, “The BJP not only wants to erase the memories of Pandit Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, but it also wants to destroy prospects of the Nehru-Gandhi lineage.”

It further read that today it is Rahul Gandhi’s turn, and tomorrow it can be Sonia Gandhi’s. The leaders have reiterated that BJP’s ultimate aim is not to erase the memories of the Gandhi lineage, but also destroy all the political prospects for the future.

Urging the citizens to raise voice, a leader from Shiv Sena said, “The government is only short of constructing poisonous gas chambers built by Hitler for eliminating opponents. Then how can there be equality of law?”

Over the years, it has come to light that the ED eyes only on parties like Congress, Rastriya Janata Dal (RJD), Shiv Sena, Trinamool Congress (TMC), Samajwadi Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, among others and never Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).

As per agitated Shiv Sena workers, the only job of ED is to frame politicians like Anil Deshmukh (state minister), Sanjay Raut, Abhishek Banerjee (TMC), Nawab Malik, Anil Parab and Lalu Prasad Yadav (RJD). There has never been a politician from BJP who have been called for questioning by the ED.

Recently, Rahul Gandhi was asked to appear before the ED. He did on Wednesday, and was thoroughly questioned for three consecutive days pertaining to the National Herald money laundering case. The agency questioned Rahul Gandhi about his “personal gain” in the case and what role he played for the same.

The Congress party has claimed that there had been no FIR issued against Rahul Gandhi, and with no legitimacy, he was called by the ED under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Alongside Rahul, Sonia Gandhi, his mother and the current Congress President, was also summoned.

Extending their support towards the Congress, Shiv Sena has claimed that the ED could neither produce a copy of any FIR against Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald money laundering case, nor give answers to the questions imposed on them by the politicians.
