CBSE Board Exam Update; Class 10th exams cancelled, 12th postponed

CBSE Board 10th examinations have been cancelled. That is, this year students of class 10th will not have to take examinations. In the Corona era, now CBSE 10th students will be promoted without exams. For them, the result will be prepared on the basis of objective criteria. 

According to the notification, children who are not satisfied with the marks obtained in this result can apply to take the exam. At the same time, the board has deferred the 12th examinations. The board has issued a press release in view of this.

The Prime Minister ordered the postponement of the examination citing safety of children as a priority. The 10th and 12th board examinations were to begin on 4 May. The PM had a meeting with the Minister of Education and the Ministers of State. Students were also demanding that the corona cases are increasing constantly, so the exam should not be done yet. 

Demand for cancellation of the CBSE board exam was rising all over the country. PM Narendra Modi held a meeting with the Minister of Education, Secretary and other key officials on this subject.

The CBSE board 10th and 12th examinations were to be held from May 4. But the second strain of coronavirus is said to be quite fatal. Meanwhile, children started demanding to postpone the exam. 

The All India Students Association had demanded a letter to the Ministry of Education to defer the examinations of the 10th and 12th examinations. This time more than 30 lakh students were

going to appear in CBSE board exams. After all this decision has come out.
